Summertime in Chicago is awesome – it’s one of the reasons I love this city so much.  Sure it’s hot, humid (ok soggy might be a better word) but the sun is out, people are out, and there are so many wonderful things to do.  Streets are lined with outside cafes, the lakefront is covered with sunbathers, rollerbladers, and bikers.  Festivals, book fairs, and farms markets start popping up around every corner….and I love it all.  But one of the things I’ve just recently discovered which make Chicago eve more awesome are the free concerts in Millennium Park. This weekend I went to two concerts, set out a lil picnic and had some wine. perfect way to spend a nice, warm summer evening.
