I totally have a thing for wrought iron – it’s sexy!  These lanterns were in a courtyard at the Riu Palace where I stayed during my vacation in 2006.

Sometimes you leave a place and think: wow, that awesome, I’m glad I went there.  When I left Petra I thought: wow, that was awesome, I can’t wait until I come back again.  I know I’ll be back in Petra again and hopefully soon.  I only was able to see a small section of the city  the first time around and next time I’d like to spend a week!  The colors of the rocks alone are enough to warrant another visit but since I’m kinda a nerdy, amateur, closeted archaeologist (shhhh!) I hope to spend a lot of time exploring the entire site.

This photo is from my trip to NYC back in July and I’ll be back in NYC in June March…and odds are prolly before then then again for TBEX in June. I’m feeling spontaneous.
