I get a kick out of people who call themselves a foodie (I’m guilty of this myself) but for seriously people

— who doesn’t love food?

So I like food. I know other people like food. This is all good here. What I need to do, is stop getting a in  food rut. The same places, the same order. It’s time for me to get out there and really taste what Chicago has to offer (don’t let me down Chicago, I love you too much)!

A good friend of mine and I decided to eat our way through the rest of 2011. We wrote down our “must-try” restaurants and then picked randomly what places we’d hit up next.

Our list topped out at 25 restaurants – some cheap eats, others fancier fare – but all make me think I should invest in jeans the next size up cuz I’m gunna be eating good this year. Real good.
