Sometimes you leave a place and think: wow, that awesome, I’m glad I went there.  When I left Petra I thought: wow, that was awesome, I can’t wait until I come back again.  I know I’ll be back in Petra again and hopefully soon.  I only was able to see a small section of the city  the first time around and next time I’d like to spend a week!  The colors of the rocks alone are enough to warrant another visit but since I’m kinda a nerdy, amateur, closeted archaeologist (shhhh!) I hope to spend a lot of time exploring the entire site.
